The greens need the rain!  They certainly do but it’s petals if it rains overnight and stops early morning. Not so today.
So, dig the waterproofs out and plenty of drying cloths.
Good luck to Tina & Cathy in the Middlesex Over 55 Pairs quarter-finals this morning and to Karen and Elaine in the Middlesex Over 55 Singles at midday. If they all win, they will play semi- finals this afternoon.
Good luck also to our club team playing Putney Town in the R&B League at Cambridge Park starting at 2:30. We might be lucky as the Met Office forecasts only a 50% chance of rain from 2:00!
