Hold on to your Horses .. and your Bowls for the Time Being

Following the Board meeting this morning, it has been decided that we will need to close the club down for indoor bowling for the next fortnight from Saturday 17th October in order to meet the current EIBA Guidelines published in yesterday’s post.

Sadly the Borough of Richmond including Cambridge Park will now be on the Tier 2 High Alert Covid Restrictions. We are seeing clarification of the Government Guidelines in relation to the EIBA Guidelines and when we have more information, we will let you know.

Well done to everyone who has played so far.  You have been brilliant in following all the procedures as regards face coverings, sanitising and disinfecting the chairs and tables at the changing stations and enjoying  drinks via the table service.  Thanks to Jane for that.

Stay safe, stay sane (aaargh!), keep handwashing, get out in the fresh air once a day, keep your distancing and keep phoning friends.  We will get through this.

Thanks

Dawn

I would like to express my thanks to Dawn for keeping us informed about the Club and also for keeping us amused! Very much appreciated. Thanks also go to everyone who has kept the Club going in these troubled times and for all their efforts at keeping the premises clean and safe. Hopefully we will be back bowling again in a couple of weeks but in the meantime keep well and safe.
    Many thanks again.
