Janeen & Tonya (Brentham) who beat Jean & Nadine in the final of the Middlesex Pairs are now through to the Quarter-Final of the National Championships! That is fantastic! Tomorrow they play the very experienced Lucy & Katie Smith, so we wish them well.
Wow ! I have tried to forget our final after their etiquette on the green was awful and I let it get to me and played terrible – the same when they previously beat Mandy Simpson apparently! Presume they have learnt the rules of the game now as the Umpire told them ?
Don’t want to be reminded of that Final – should never have lost ?! Only Ann is through from Cambridge Park this Season !
