Lots of matches today with semi finals of the Men’s Championships as well the Masters.
Sunday 25th – Mixed Friendly v Camberley – Away
On Sunday afternoon, we play Camberley away in a friendly. We had a good match against them last time and Kevin K is hoping his team get a win! Players need to be at Camberley by 1:45
Saturday – Middlesex League v Glebelands
At 10:00 on Saturday 25th we take on Glebelands in the next Middlesex League match with two rinks at home and two away. We’re hoping to improve on our 2-2 draw v Century last week. Supporters and spectators taking time to be out of the wind and rain are welcome at both venues.
World Championships – Friday
With Julie Forrest taking the women’s title over Beth Riva, It’s now down to the final few days with the men taking the stage. Jason Banks is having a really good week and hoping to add singles to his tournament wins. He’ll have to until tonight to play former champion Paul Foster though.
World Championships – Wednesday
Singles day today. The first match on BBC2 should be a good one with Sam Tolchard v Wayne Wilgress. Sam has won almost ( if not every) indoors and outdoors national singles over the last few years. Dave P beat him in the Open Singles Quarter final the other week which was a great feat. …
