Congratulations to Tina C who has reached the Area Finals of the National Two Bowl Singles, the Over 60’s Singles and the Over 50’s Triples with Jacqui & Teresa.

This is a terrific achievement for all the girls. It is a while since any of the girls have reached the National Finals at Nottingham.
Tina played the Over 60’s Singles at Donyngs at 6:00 on Tuesday 17th, the Triples with Jacqui & Teresa  at midday on Wednesday 18th also at Donyngs.
The Two Bowl Singles will be against Yaz ( recently crowned Indoor Under 25 Champion)This has yet to be fixed as the semi final was only played this morning with Tina winning 21-20 over Dawn after 31 ends!

If anyone can get to Donyngs to support the singles and triples, that would be lovely. We’ll let you know when and where the other Singles will be.

CP still have players battling their Middlesex & Club comps.

Well done to Jacqui & Gary B who had a cracking win v Dave B & Kathleen from Century last night. Needing 5 from the last 2 ends, they picked up a 2 and then the tactics came into play (I won’t divulge them here in case they need to use them again!) and they picked up a 4, thanks to Gary’s final bowl.

Di, Dawn & Ann H had a very exciting Area semifinal in the ‘young’ triples thanks to some brilliant bowls by Ann H. They lost by only 2 shots to Yaz, Amanda & Cheryl from Egham.
