On Saturday, the Men play Hounslow in the Denny Plate. Two rinks home, two away starting at 10:00. Supporters welcome at both venues.

On Sunday, it’s the Egham Mixed Trophy also v Hounslow with two rinks at home and two away starting at 10:00. Again supporters welcome at both venues.

On Sunday 9th, we play Egham in the second round of the Top Club having beaten (just) Hounslow in the first round. There seems to be a theme here.

On another note ….

Apologies for the recent lack of posts. It was Duncan’s funeral last Friday so ‘normal’ things took a back seat.
Thank you to everyone who came along. It was both overwhelming and humbling how many came to give him a good earthly send-off as well as giving support to Alistair, Cameron and myself. Thanks to all have donated to The Ruth Strauss Foundation in Duncan’s memory. So far, there is over £2,000 to go and support children who have lost a parent to non-smoking-related lung cancer as well as research as to why non-smokers are falling foul to this disease.

Ruth Strauss was the wife of former international cricketer Andrew Strauss.  It was the cricketing link that drew Duncan to the charity.
