Sadly Karen lost her Regional Over 60’s Singles match 17-21 but reports said she played well.
Also, sadly, our Over 60’s Mixed Double Rink team lost to Gerrards Cross last night.
Tomorrow (Saturday) the Middlesex Men’s Middleton Cup Team play Hampshire at Desborough BC in Maidenhead and the Middlesex Ladies play Wiltshire in the Johns Trophy at Banbury Chestnuts at 13:30.
Winning these quarter-final matches would put the teams into the semis at Leamington at the end of the month. (A long time since we’ve been in contention!)
Cambridge Park is represented by Dave P for the men and Karen, Jacqui, Cathy, Tina, Nadine & Dawn for the Ladies. Ann H, Jacquie and Marie will be cheering us on from the sidelines!
