So we’re now down to the final two!
Wild card Alex Marshall showed he still had all the skills necessary to reach the final after a great match v Paul Foster, which could have gone either way. Those two run-the-jack shots taking it clean into the ditch were courageous, outrageous and perfect!,(Makes a note to practic=se those shots sometime!)
Stewart Anderson kept up his run of precision drawing to beat Harry Goodwin, who didn’t exactly play badly!
Afternoon
FINAL (2PM) – SINGLES
Stewart Anderson vs Alex Marshall MBE
It’ll be a live treat for those not playing v London Welsh this afternoon. We’ll have to catch up tonight!
Good luck to the Potters Champion of Champion Finalists – Colchester Oysters v Thanet. They play at 10:00 but I think that might need to be watched on FB or YouTube although that final is not always streamed.
Each four won their Bowls Competition week at Potters then played in the Champion of Champions tournament just before Christmas. Their prize being to play on the portable rink this morning. Quite a challenge as it will be very different from the other rinks at Potters. We hope they have a good game.
