I gather from a couple of you last night that yesterday’s matches were better. Maybe it’s because players have settled into the rink now.
Today’s play includes mixed pairs and I believe it’s Lucy Smith’s first appearance.
Lucy’s family have been heavily involved in the Open Singles Circuit before passing the organisation over to EIBA. Lucy and her sister won both the EIBA National Pairs as well as the Bowls England National Pairs in the same year. Quite an achievement!

Some great matches today

The Doubler/Salmon pair put out Nick Brett & Greg Harlow and then another pair yesterday to put themselves into the semi final  They played brilliantly on Sunday , It’s 2-bowl pairs so players have to concentrate very hard and make every bowl count!
