Sadly Duncan lost his battle with Pancreatic Cancer followed by three strokes this morning.
The carers and I were with him as he slipped off this mortal coil in his sleep.
I will let you know if the funeral details when we’ve got ourselves sorted.
Thanks to everyone who has asked after him since his diagnosis. He (we) have been overwhelmed by the love and care you have given us.

Dear Dawn,
I was so very, very sorry to read this mail from you today. I called Gerry and he says he has much sympathy as he knew about Duncan’s illness. He hasn’t yet opened his computer today so this news was a shock to him – and he asked me to send you his deepest regards. I’ll never forget how kind you were with my Mum, Rita. Be kind to yourself. Thinking of you. ????
Thanks to you and Gerry, Sharon.
Duncan’s final 9 weeks seemed to go on forever as he became weaker with the second and third strokes caused by the cancer. Compared to many cancer sufferers, he didn’t linger and wasn’t in any pain both of which were a blessing.
I am still struggling to believe he won’t be coming home again. The boys have been absolutely brilliant and we are greatly missing him.
Dawn,
I am so sorry to hear of Duncan’s passing. My thoughts go out to you and all your family.
Kevin K
Thanks, Kevin.
