Having had a hunt around, it appears that the National Lockdown finishes tonight so Tier 2 comes into effect tomorrow on what would have been the Day 1 – National Lockdown Countdown.  Psychologically ending the lockdown is a boost to our mental wellbeing even if we don’t fancy heading to the shops, pubs or cafes.

It does mean we can meet in groups of 6 outdoors – so get the thermals out!

The Board meeting is still on Thursday morning and, D.V., we intend to open on Friday morning with all the sanitising, social distancing and other procedures in place that were there when we were forced to shut after 4th November (including having all four rinks available).  We will confirm this as soon as possible.  (There have been no further updates from the EIBA since Friday)

So, open the Advent Calendar, get the Christmas cards finished (Brenda D is well on her way to achieving this task!), and set your sat nav for TW1 2PG – in case you’ve forgotten how to get there, then watch out for your email inbox on Thursday afternoon.
